Facial Enhancement Acupuncture
Facial and body points worked together, for the appearance of your skin and the tension you carry in your face.
What it is
Holistic facial acupuncture. Fine needles are placed in the face and — this is the part that gets left out elsewhere — also in the body. Your face isn’t a separate system from the rest of you, and how your skin looks is bound up with sleep, stress, digestion and hormones.
The facial points are chosen for circulation, muscular tension around the jaw, brow and eyes, and the appearance of the skin. The body points are chosen for whatever is going on underneath. The session finishes with organic botanical skincare.
Who it’s for
Women who want to look after their skin without a cabinet of products or anything invasive. Anyone carrying visible tension in their face — a clenched jaw, a permanently furrowed brow. People who’d rather approach ageing thoughtfully than fight it, and want something that treats the whole of them while it’s at it.
What to expect
Your first visit begins with a proper conversation about your skin, your health and your routine. Then the treatment: body points first, then the face, then skincare. It’s a genuinely restful appointment — a lot of people fall asleep. You may notice some mild redness afterwards, which settles within a few hours. Facial acupuncture works cumulatively, so I’ll give you an honest view of what’s realistic after I’ve seen your skin, rather than a number decided in advance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Facial needles are very fine — finer than the ones used elsewhere on the body. Most people are surprised by how little they feel, and a lot of them fall asleep.

Different tools and different intentions. Facial acupuncture uses individual needles at specific points and works alongside body treatment, so it addresses tension and circulation as well as skin. Microneedling works across the surface of the skin to support renewal and the appearance of texture and scarring. Some people do one, some alternate — we can talk about which suits you.

Facial acupuncture works cumulatively. One session is a lovely thing to have; a course is where the difference tends to show. I’ll give you an honest view of what’s realistic for your skin after I’ve seen it, rather than a number decided in advance.

Come as you are. I’ll cleanse your face before we start. Afterwards I’d leave make-up off for the rest of the day and let your skin be.

Occasionally a small bruise appears — the face is well supplied with blood vessels and it happens. It’s usually minor and settles quickly. If you have an event coming up, tell me when you book and we’ll time it sensibly.
-
Tell me where you are in your pregnancy when you book. There are points I’d avoid, and I’ll adapt the treatment accordingly — pregnancy is a significant part of my practice, so this is familiar ground.
Ready when you are.
Send me a message and tell me what’s going on. No pressure, no script — I’ll tell you honestly whether I think I can help.
Not sure which is right for you?
If you’re not certain where to start, send me a message and tell me what’s going on. I’d rather point you to the right appointment than have you guess.
